There is no Halloween here in Southern Africa. It is not part of our traditions. I like this witch 😂

Happy Halloween. We just came back from Scotland, and it’s quite obvious that it’s a country that takes Halloween seriously through a blend of modern celebrations, historic traditions, and a strong connection to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. I love how the kids are still encouraged to go guising, where they would perform a song or poem to earn a treat, rather than simply trick-or-treating for candy. I saw a Jeep with a skeleton draped across the spare tire. I’ll bet that skeleton and this witch could share similar tales of misfortune.
