It’s a NEW YEAR, I’m excited. Time to Make Things Happen!
This photo is how my brain works. A vision board full of sticky notes, depicting all the exciting, creative and crazy ideas going on in my brain. What I like about sticky notes is that I can move my ideas/goals around. If a goal is not going to meet a particular date/time, no problem, move it to bottom of the board. Focus on what I will accomplish by deadline, then circle back to the goal I moved to the bottom of board.
Years ago, I worked for a man who thought like I did. He was big on white boards. Every office had huge white boards. Whenever we had a meeting, everything went on the white board. Discussing root cause analysis on a product failure was great. One person wrote on the board, everyone chimed in, it was easy to erase, move text over, etc. When we filled up board, someone took a photo. THEN we erased and continued. Later someone wrote up the notes and sent to all the attendees. My type of meeting!
So here’s to MAKING THINGS HAPPEN in 2024!

Sounds like the right way to go. Its all about the PLAN. Happy New Year. Allan

That is an interesting way to do a meeting. I do keep little notes all over for store, the day and on my phone for my character’s lines.

Yes, I used the notes in my phone for character ideas. I’m working on a MG book. We never know when IDEAS come to us, we have to write them down or we forget.

I miss my white board. I totally relate.

I carry a notebook in which I am forever scribbling things that must be done, and in my Diary I write a Ta Da List at the end of each week which covers tasks successfully completed. It’s about accentuating the positives for me.
But hey, whatever works…

Exactly, we do what works for us. I often write notes in a notebook too. I have different outlets for what I am thinking.

I use the Tasks app on my iPhone the way you describe your white boards. Make a list, add completion dates to each, move them around as needed, at detailed notes, mark completed as you go, and so on. Super convenient and productive!

Great idea! I haven’t seen the Task App, but know I would like it. I do use the Notes app on my IPhone a lot for whatever pops in my mind.
