I went walking the other day. It was early in the morning with a bit of rain, just a drizzle.
I came across this group of pigeons eating breakfast.
Then I saw this pipe thing on a tree. What do you think it is for?
Then some flowers.
I enjoy mornings when everything is waking up and coming alive.

That pipe thing looks like a support for a flag. 🤔 It is anyway not good for the tree: should never nail anything on tree trunks.

Yep, flag holder. We put an identical metal version next to our garage for the American flag. I agree with the others tho’; a flag mount has no business on a tree. And where is the flag?

LOL – true, it was perfect. Usually, I see them by the grocery store. Here it was a nice green background with the trees too. It’s like they live in the “good” part of town.

I was all ready for a description of the delightful aroma of pipe smoke from an old man on his front porch. A flagless plastic flag holder is so much less satisfying. 🙂
