Life can be interesting. I’ve never been to Mt Rushmore, but I think it’s beautiful.
A friend was just traveling and she went there and sent photos.
THEN… I was at a thrift store looking at puzzles and LOOK what I found. YES, Mt Rushmore.
Puzzling is perfect right now as the weather has gotten cold and the days are getting shorter.
I hope all the pieces are there.
What are your plans for the weekend?

That’s a beautiful puzzle. I always check the board game section at my local charity shops as they are a treasure trove for board game and puzzle hunters. You can always find something exciting for a low price. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

What an interesting puzzle to do. I’m leaving the Bay Area to return home after taking care of kids post surgery. To add to the excitement, I’m flying with my daughter’s pug.

Hope your flight went well. It’s always nice to be back home.

It’s only an hour and half flight, and I had my daughter’s pug. It all went well!

Watching baseball…..and hoping the Jays win and proceed on to the World Series!

A little late in responding. I don’t watch baseball, but I hope your team won.

We did! Word Series here we come! What a game last night, behind 3-1 Seattle in the 7th inning and George Springer (who was hit by a pitch in the 5th game) hit a 3 run homerun to take the lead. A bit of divine retribution for the Seattle fans who booed him when he was lying on the field grimacing with pain and had to hobble off. I don’t except them to win the World series though, as the Dodgers are too good, but it’s great they got this far.

Hoping the Jays win too! I’m starting a big LEGO kit – the Vincent Van Gogh Sunflowers one.

I love Legos, have not done one of their big ones, but Dave at Life in a Word is starting Trevi Fountain. I’m Italian background, look forward to seeing that one. Yours sounds beautiful too.

A puzzle sounds fun, but my scarce leisure time prohibits it. Someday . . .

This looks like a wonderful puzzle. I don’t have the patience for puzzles.

LOL, and I don’t have patience to write a poem. My hat goes off to you. It’s how our brains our wired, both take determination and patience in a different way, right.

Yes, you are right. I have patience to edit my books and to do art but I don’t have patience to piece puzzles together.

My plans include a forest preserve hike on Sunday with my mom, followed by brunch at one of our favorite mom-and-pop cafes. Simple and luxurious without the high cost! 😊

That sounds GREAT. My kind of weekend, a good hike in nature and a cafe, sit and enjoy life.

“Puzzling is perfect” – I agree! It helps me calm down when I’m anxious!
Best wishes and enjoy assembling the image! Linda xx
