It would have been fun. My mom liked soft-boiled eggs (not my favorite, but I do like hard-boiled eggs); I was at a store once and saw ceramic egg cups that sat atop chicken legs with big feet and decided she had to have them. 🙂
I’m smiling at that!! The Europeans with their nice china and soft boiled egg cups, coffee / tea in saucers, etc. know how to make breakfast every day feel grand. My ex/mother/m/law had a Spode set, she was German background. She always made breakfast nice, even if they were having oatmeal.
Yes, meals that are more dignified somewhat. My father was German and made me eat all my meals with a knife and fork from an early age. He would eat everything with knife and fork, even pizza or fried chicken.
LOL – I still eat pizza with a knife and fork. Well, not when I was in College with friends, but European parents and more old fashioned / traditional.
That’s funny – no, I would not have done the knife-and-fork for pizza when out with friends either. But yes, it’s the way we were brought up. My mother, although not European, endorsed learning to eat with knife and fork at an early age and she did so too. She was more about “no elbows on the table – ever!” 🙂 I was an only child and my parents had me when they were 30 and I had a strict upbringing.
Somebody is going to shove a raw drumstick into the toaster slots, contract salmonella, and sue the manufacturer. “Clearly my client was deceived by this so-called chicken toaster, your honor.”
You gave me a good chuckle. Made me think of the person who won millions by spilling McDonald’s coffee of herself. There’s always a story of mid-interpretation!
No, I have mine set up, that people can follow and their post goes in my reader. Did you follow me? If yes, did it ask for an email? The email is if the post goes to their email versus their Reader. Those I usually don’t do, because I have enough emails. I like to go to WP and look at people I follow in the Reader. Let me know if you figure it out, then I’ll follow you. You CAN DO IT!
Oh you just made my day!!!!! I love it!!!

I am always up for a cluckle, er … chuckle on a Friday. They are perfect for toast and eggs. Why didn’t we come up with this novelty idea?

Exactly, especially when we were kids and at least at my house, we had big breakfast every Sunday. We kids would have loved this.

I went to see your site. Looks like you are creating a Game? I’m not a Gamer, but it was interesting. You don’t have a Subscribe button.

We bought a Breville countertop smart oven years ago and turned our backs on toasters forever. Perfect toast and bagels every time!

LOL, that can’t compare to a toaster. I’ve had the Cusinart air fryer toast. It was nice, but I missed having a real toaster.

They are great. I’d never seen any toaster like this before.

I could see you with a chicken toaster. I’m thinking of some of the good things you bake.
