For anyone who has gotten married… There is always a sweet or not so sweet story behind the proposal.
I was doing this fabulous White Mountain puzzle of Niagara Falls. As I was sorting the pieces, I realized there was this cute message at the top. LOVE that red plane too.
Reminded me of when my ex-husband proposed. He gave me a fake ring. At first glance, it looked like it could be real, but when I pulled the ring out of the ring box, it was adjustable. Meaning, the bottom of the ring was open, not closed, so I could adjust it to my finger. That was funny.
I’m sure there are even funnier stories out there…

Have a nice day!

A lovely puzzle:)

Hmm–is there a reason he is an ex? 😉

We were meant to be friends. Sometimes that happens. Super great guy. Different communication styles. 😉

That is a cute puzzle and a plane pulling a banner is a romantic way to propose, so I hope Mary said “yes” to that question!

It looked like it would have been fun. My mom would have liked this one – she really liked working on jigsaw puzzles.

It is a peaceful pastime. I have tried online puzzles but can only do a 25-piece puzzle max. 🙂

I tried online puzzles, but couldn’t get into it. It felt cumbersome. Back to the real deal. 😉

Same here – you have to sort through each piece because there is nowhere to separate them. Real deal for sure!

Now I’m wondering how you reacted to the fake ring and did you get a real one 💍

lol – Well, I did say, “What is this?” I wondered if the intention was real, then he pulled out the real one. I think he just wanted to have fun at my expense. Luckily, I went with the joke. 😉

It’s been 50 years (gulp) since I’ve seen Niagara Falls. Makes me wonder if it’s any different than I remember. Spectacular setting, even if a little touristy. Good choice for a puzzle!

I haven’t been there since College too. it was a quick visit, I barely remember it. This was a cute touristy puzzle of the Niagara Falls and wearing raincoats. LOL

Yes, I thought so too. So many puzzles lately are looking all the same. This was a bit unique, I liked that.
