We all have stress in our lives for different reasons. All we want is to relax and unwind.
Well, look at this. I saw it on social media, the website: Stillwater Symphony, offers luxury floating sound baths.
What do you think? Have you seen this before?

Have a relaxing weekend!

I’ve never seen anything like this before Monica, but it must be popular – look how many people there are and how close they are together. I’m wondering about the blanket over them, a weighted blanket perhaps, which I understand is good for relieving stress and anxiety? I’ve never tried one.

I like the idea, but not in a pool with people right next to me like that. LOL

They were way too close – the hotel was trying to make a buck by booking too many people for the experience at one time. 🙂

So, I have to ask: what takes an ordinary sound bath and makes it luxurious? 😁

LOL – it’s the sound of those bowls they hit. Interesting concept, we all want to RELAX.

I thought I had heard it all when I read about goat yoga, but this is a new one. I can’t imagine that being surrounded by so many people would be relaxing. But, to the practitioners I say, “whatever ‘floats your boat.’ ” 🤣

LOL – good one. Agree, too many people, too close together. I like the idea of floating on water… creates a Zen moment in life. In Hawaii this would be good.

I like the concept – especially adding poolside instruments to the piped-in music – but I pause at the $75 price tag. It ranks with other spa therapies most of us would attach the “luxury” tag to. I’ll immerse myself in my Spotify playlists with my noise-cancelling headphones instead… and at no charge 🙂

LOL – it’s the cost of a massage if you think about it that way. Not sure what the going rate for massages is, but I’m sure it’s up there.

Good point. You can’t get a decent massage for $75 these days!

I’ve heard of sound baths… but that was in the context of an individual, private meditation. LOL, I know it’s not right, but just looking at this nearly freaks me out. I don’t like crowds, and there isn’t any elbow room in that scene.
What do you think about it? Hugs.

I feel the same. I get claustophobic looking at that. The idea is good, just way too many people too close together.
