Walking: Gardening – Observations

Do you have funny thoughts when you are walking? I went to visit a friend. We were walking the neighborhood. As we were talking, I stopped, giggled and had to take this picture.

I’ve always enjoyed gardening. Trimming the hedges, raking leaves, etc. I saw this bush, and immediately wished I had my gardening sheers with me. All those funny shoots sticking out, needed trimming.

Further on our walk, we came across this gigantic sunflower. Isn’t it amazing?

All alone, it grew so tall in such glory. There is a daintiness in this sunflower’s stance too.

There is beauty all around us. We just have to slow down to see it.

Have a great weekend!

  1. I’ve always liked the bright sunny faces of sunflowers. As to the hedge cleanup, I look at some people’s yards and wonder why they do not live in apartments. Their yards are often unkempt, unused and unloved. Happy Friday. Allan

    1. You are so right. There is one house I walk by. The owners seems to start a project and then leave all their tools and huge bags of mulch, etc. just there for weeks. This is their front yard. I’m sure the snow will cover it soon. No follow through.

      1. I have been lacking motivation and time to get to the studio. I am hoping to be able to have a better schedule next year. I have done a couple of things, and I will post them soon 🙂 Thank you for looking forward to seeing them.
