Winter is coming, the leaves are falling. However, when I am walking, I see there are STILL some flowers alive and well. The colors are so vibrant for this time of year. Look at those ornamental cabbage plants. I rarely see those.

This is my favorite type of weather to walk in. It’s border line cold, but still fresh outside for a brisk walk. Allows time for creative thinking.

I leave you with this yellow rose. What does the yellow rose mean? Friendship??
Have a nice weekend!

They’re beautiful!

Yes, I was amazed. I walked walked nothing, suddenly I’d see flowers. 🙂

They truly are: I actually smiled irl as I saw the stunning photo of the violet flowers!
The photos and your words reveal the truth behind Matisse’s “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” Thank you for shining the light on them 🌺

Wonderful quote. Yes, indeed, in the end, we see what we want to see in any given situation, so true. Have you been quiet lately? I haven’t seen a post from you, unless they are not showing up in my Reader, which sometimes happens.

Though it started with a negative meaning, it now means friendship, warmth and affection. 🙂

Autumn . . . the best time of the year (in my opinion)!

We have bushes in our yard that ONLY bloom in the winter. It’s like they’re snubbing all of the other grow-ees by saying, “Thanks, but we’ll be blooming in our own season instead”. Nonconformists – my kinda flowers!
