I was in Indiana enjoying the fury of Lake Michigan. The temperatures dropped; it was cold and windy there. I realized I could see the Chicago skyline. I took this picture with my IPhone, but I couldn’t capture what I was seeing “in person,” a crisper and more distinct looking skyline.
Distance photos should be taken with a high powered camera.
Today is BLACK Friday. It’s the official start of the Christmas season. If you are shopping, I hope you find some GREAT deals out there.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

I guess that’s the curve of the earth at work, huh? Lake Michigan must be bigger than I think. Chicago looks like it’s rising out of the ocean, with no land on either side. It’s kind of an eerie look.

Yes, it’s even more beautiful if the sunset is behind it.

It’s still a gorgeous photo and no wonder what camera we use, it never captures the beauty we see with our own eyes. (In my opinion.)

Yes, as kids we were always excited when the day was clear and we could see the Chicago skyline.
