I carefully took this photo, trying not to look at the sun. The sun is bright, it hurts our eyes to look toward it. This was a neat photo between the trees. Looks like a spooky Halloween photo. We just need a witch flying by on her broomstick.
I look forward to seeing what the media shows later today.

How did it go. I could see on the news how dark it got on the path up North. We are in Chicago, so just a partial eclipse. I didn’t go out to look for it.

I went outside and it was a little darker than normal, but not much difference.

Hi there. My wife and I watched the eclipse over a one-and-a-half-hour period today. Yesterday I wasn’t planning to watch it. But I’m glad I changed my mind. It was a winner.

So glad you watched and enjoyed yourself. It was fun seeing the crowds excited on TV. Also, happy that NASA was getting such great exposure. They even put a plug in for applications to their program! Good for them.

Beautiful photo, Monica. You should try to capture the exact same with a full moon, and then frame the two side-by-side.

I feel like such a slug – I live right in the path of the eclipse but never bothered to go outside to experience it. And some people traveled great distances to come here. Oh well, I was never very good at being normal.

I’m in Chicago, we could not see the full eclipse and you could see it better online. I think we are all feeling a bit sluggish lately, but Spring is here, it’s still cold, but some days are warm… Getting out will become fun.
