When you need to get away, where do you go? For me, I love a large body of water.
In Indiana, on a clear day, you can see the Chicago skyline across Lake Michigan.
First photo, if you have an eagle eye, you can see the Chicago skyline at a distance. Second photo, I zoomed in, so you could see it better. What’s interesting is that in person, the sun was shinning on the building to far left, it was magical. Zoomed in, you can see what I saw in person.

Here’s to finding that special place that brings us peace, calmness and joy.
Have a nice day!

Being in, on or around water makes me feel good, so that’s why I always choose to be by the water whenever I feel the need to get away from it all and recharge, too. I can’t think of a more relaxing place to be because I just love how water impacts all five senses at the same time, giving me a totally immersive experience. Thanks for sharing, and have a good day 🙂 Aiva xx

I love the view across Lake Michigan! Where were you when you took this? My money is on somewhere between St. Joe and South Haven. But I could easily be wrong.

I go to a large body of water too. We’re currently in a small town on the Pacfic Ocean. Today I posted a photo of the lights of Santa Barbara in the distance! Great minds think alike 😅

I can think of no better place for peace, calmness, and joy than a beach or coastline. Glad you have this place at your disposal. Also, for most of us this is a unique view of the Chicago skyline; one we certainly don’t see very often.

I love an open field of green grass with a few horses and woods unexplored.

Me too, around the world, so many beautiful areas. I went to visit your site. Unfortunately, it’s in a language I don’t know. I know English and Italian.
